FAQ · Guides
How much protein do I actually need?
A common general guideline is roughly 0.7 to 1.0 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight per day — the lower end for mostly sedentary days, the upper end when you are resistance training. Our free Protein Target Calculator turns your weight and activity level into a rough daily range in a few seconds. Treat it as a starting estimate, not a prescription: it is a general nutrition guideline, not medical advice, and you should confirm your own target with your clinician, especially on appetite-suppressing medication or with any condition that affects protein needs.
