FAQ · Electrolytes

How much sodium should an electrolyte mix have?

There is no single right number — it depends on your sweat rate, the heat, your activity, and the rest of your diet, and mixes range from under 200mg to about 1,000mg of sodium per serving. High-sodium mixes suit heavy sweating; lighter ones suit everyday sipping. We report the milligrams straight from the panel so you can match the product to your situation. The firm caveat: if you manage blood pressure, or a kidney or heart condition, your sodium target is specifically a clinician matter — read the number, and take the decision to them.
