Meal Replacement
A meal replacement is a shake formulated to substitute for a meal, which means it should carry more than protein: a sensible calorie level, fiber, fats, and a spread of vitamins and minerals. That makes the evaluation broader than a protein powder — you are reading the entire panel and the micronutrient coverage, plus cost per serving, which is where "premium" meal shakes get expensive fast. For small-appetite days they can be genuinely useful as calories-plus-protein in a glass; we judge them on completeness and price, never on any weight claim.
