FAQ · Protein Powders
How many grams of protein per serving should a powder have?
Most powders land around 20–25 grams of protein per serving, which is a reasonable per-serving amount for many people — but the figure only means something next to the serving size and scoop count. A "25g" powder that needs two big scoops is a costlier, more calorie-dense product than one hitting 25g in a single scoop. Confirm both, then translate to dollars per 20g of protein. How much total protein you personally want per day is the bigger question — the Protein Target Calculator gives a general range, and your clinician confirms what is right for you.
