Dietary Fiber

Dietary fiber is the indigestible carbohydrate in plants that adds bulk, slows digestion, and feeds gut bacteria; labels list it in grams per serving. It matters here for a practical reason — when appetite is low and total intake is small, fiber is easy to under-eat, and shakes and supplements are one way to close the gap. We report grams per serving and the type where disclosed, and keep the framing factual: fiber is a nutrient with well-described digestive effects, not a treatment we make claims about.
